Crisp, cool weather is back in the city so it’s back to warmer pieces for now. To achieve that layered look, you can easily DIY like I did here. I layered a cropped sweater over a silk tank I found at Club Monaco. I’m wearing Mother denim, which is always a very flattering fit, if you’re searching for that perfect pair. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a chic looking leather jacket over practically any outfit; this one is from Aritzia. I am also wearing a pair of my favorite Rag & Bone booties.

I had the most amazing time at NYFW, but I have to admit that it feels pretty great to come home to warm, sunny 75 degree weather in San Francisco and leave those freezing NY temps behind.
I was more than ready to throw on a springtime outfit and enjoy the weather. I celebrated my return home with a trip to Bi-Rite Ice Cream (the best ice cream in the city!) and explored Delores Park with Ryan.
For a warm, winter day, I love a good Chambray, like this one by Club Monaco, paired with white denim by Frame, it’s one of my favorite casual-chic looks. These awesome little booties are by Club Monaco as well, and of course my Stella McCartney cross-body is the perfect bag for city gallivanting

While I love the chicness of an all black ensemble, I decided to have a little fun with my last NY fashion show outfit and a pop of color was a must for the Michael Costello show.
I am happy to report that this very luxe, black coat from Club Monaco is now on sale. This bright, detailed skirt by a.l.c. is also on sale and will be hanging in my closet (in close proximity) through spring :). Over-the- knee Stuart Weitzman boots were a must-pair with this outfit and I just couldn’t help but add another shade of pink with my Stella McCartney cross-body.
The Michael Costello show was definitely one of my favorites. The collection was incredibly beautiful and creative. The accessories by House of Borel were absolutely stunning and were paired just perfectly with the runway gowns.
Photography is by the amazing Alexandra Wolf, who I luckily had the opportunity to work with again this trip.

Keeping warm in New York last week was no small feat. All the more reason to splurge on a cozy winter coat, like this winter white gem by Alice & Olivia that I found at Dash Boutique.
The skirt and sweater I’m wearing here are from Intermix, one of my always reliable go-to shops. I cannot wait to showcase this skirt in the spring, with less layers. These Stuart Weitzman boots were everywhere at NYFW and with good reason. Paired with pants, dress or a skirt, they kept legs warm and chic. I accessorized with this hat by Rag & Bone, which rarely left my head and bag by YSL.
There’s something about black and white that looks so classic against a snowy backdrop. Photographer Justin James from Dallas, Texas captured this feel perfectly. I am so glad that we connected in New York and I was so very excited that we both had the time to shoot.

Braving the icy chill in a skirt for one day was more than enough for me. From then on, extra layers were a must to keep warm amidst the NYC frost. Also, pieces that were essential during Fashion Week: hats and statement coats.
I am in love with this very chic and cozy, oversized Club Monaco jacket. Paired with this Rag & Bone hat, they are the perfect pieces for walking through the snowy city streets. Underneath, I’m wearing a very warm turtleneck sweater dress from Aritzia. Sweater dresses are a really great choice for a very flattering, sexy yet elegant look that doesn’t sacrifice warmth or comfort. I could not resist splurging on these classically beautiful Givenchy boots during my stay. My Stella McCartney light pink cross-body is the perfect accessory for city exploration.
