This weekend I am in one of my favorite places to explore, relax and rejuvenate. While in Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park, I wanted to share a few thoughts on my favorite desert attire and a few tips on achieving this look.
♥ Bohemian is my favorite look. I really love how beautifully detailed and unrestricted boho pieces can be.
♥ Bohemian can still be designer, hence “boho-chic”. While these pieces can be most challenging to make work, there is usually so much thought that goes into them and quite an artistic process from start to finish. Often times, these items are unique and one of a kind.
I am loving this all white look for the weekend. I paired this very versatile white tank from Aritzia with this airy skirt from Club Monaco. These simplest nude sandals are by Schutz and I love the way my denim boy Chanel pops against the white. I’m quite obsessed with all white, which is not only super chic, but can really bring out your best features. I always seem to notice eye color against white and not to mention, it can make you look instantly tan So needless to say, whenever I spot a white and flowy number, I must have it. And as you can imagine, Club Monaco’s new beach shop is to die for. I wanted everything! I highly recommend a visit.
I love how effortless spring attire can be. With so many bright and feminine dress options, you can add just a few favorite accessories and instantly look so chic. I adore this Aritzia dress with its embroidery detail and soft texture. It’s also available in black and white. This shade I’m wearing is called Crystal is just the perfect color for the season. I belted the Allier dress at the waist with a skinny Valentino belt and paired my studded Valentino sandals as well. Another springtime must is a bright colored bag, like my white Balenciaga. When it’s chilly, I throw on a jean jacket to complement the look. My favorite accessory though are these gorgeous Farmgirl flowers because nothing says spring like a bouquet of freshly cut flowers
Coachella was an amazing experience and I’ll definitely be back next year! I stayed at The Saguaro, a boutique hotel in Palm Springs for the weekend. I loved all the beautiful colors and the pool parties were so much fun! On such a warm desert day of music festival going, I’m wearing a light mint off-the-shoulder mini-dress from Jen’s Pirate Booty. I paired this dress with my Valentino studded sandals and I really liked the contrast of the feminine lace overlay with the edgy studs. I added a braid to give this look a more boho vibe.
I was very excited to attend the Shopstyle & PopSugar event at the Viceroy this past weekend. The event was so much fun and best of all, I got to meet Mara Hoffman and see her summer collection! I fell in love with so many pieces and even purchased some of my favorites. I couldn’t wait to wear this matching set by Winston White. It was so comfy and felt very boho-chic. These boots by Chloe were the perfect pairing as well as my bag by Cleobella. This awesome headpiece is by Ettika, from Revolve.
