If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I just got back from a trip to New York. It was always on my bucket list to visit New York during the holidays. My favorite Christmas movies growing up were all set in New York, I just had to go see it for myself!

New York was definitely over the top with all things Christmas. There was something so magical about going to visit the Rockefeller tree! It was so gorgeous, especially at night. I definitely recommend having a meal at the Sea Grill at Rockefeller Center. While we were having dinner there, we got to witness a proposal on the ice skating rink! It was so awesome to witness.

Another thing I loved about New York during the holidays were the window displays in all the stores on 5th Avenue! The ones at Saks were my favorite by far, They were all so festive and over the top — the decorations did a good job at luring us in for some shopping! I got these Gucci boots as an early Christmas gift, I will always think of this trip when I wear them!

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton Central Park which is right in the middle of everything! I loved this hotel — their Christmas tree was SO amazing. It was so nice to come in from the cold and have the hot apple cider they served every afternoon. We definitely had to bundle up while we were there! I packed this Zara coat (similar here & here), these hunter boots, this scarf, and this adorable pom pom beanie. We don’t get to wear things like this back home, so it was kind of fun to bundle up!

Also on my NYC Holiday bucket list was seeing the Rockettes. They did not disappoint! It was such an amazing show, and I definitely recommend checking it out! We also got to walk through Central Park while it was snowing and went ice skating! It was a picture perfect moment that I will cherish forever. This trip really got my in the holiday spirit and any chance I get to go back during the holidays, I will!
